Sassy Media Group Co-Founder & Managing Director
I co-founded Sassy Media Group with my friend and business partner Hester Aba (I love the fact that to this day we are still good friends and business partners!). Our goal at the very beginning was to bring together a community where girls can connect with each other and know all the latest and greatest things that were happening in their city. I love that even to this day we have stayed true to our mission and it has been amazing to see the brand grow to so many great cities - like Manila! I am an accessory junkie and am always on the hunt for my next statement necklace, which then somehow finds its way onto my daughter Eve at dress up time. And when the weekend rolls around I am always down for a relaxing foot massage or a nice gin and tonic during cocktail hour.
Sassy Media Group Co-Founder & Creative Director
I co-founded Sassy Media Group in Hong Kong along with my great friend Maura Thompson, bringing to life our vision of sharing the inside secrets of a city with urban girls who love to eat, drink, shop and play! I'm originally from the UK and have been living in Asia for eight years now. My professional background is in Graphic Design and I'm now Sassy's Creative Director. I love traveling (ask me about my humongous bucket list!), dim sum and hanging out with my two little girls, Elodie and Margot.

After living in Boston and New York for five years, I moved back to Manila in 2009 and since then, I’ve always been on the lookout for my next favorite restaurant. Red wine is my weakness. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I also love a good flat white, well-curated boutiques and bookstores (my friends make fun of me that I love everything quaint!), and fun/crazy/weird adventures in foreign cities (like being chased by sheep). I’m still an aspiring yogini even if that headstand may never happen! And thanks to Sassy, I’m glad I finally have something better to give friends and visitors than an excel sheet of restaurants to try.

I was born in the Middle East and grew up in Hong Kong, so I developed a travel addiction very early on, which luckily living in Asia facilitates! I work as an interior decorator/stylist and moonlight as a DJ. I love any kind of workout, all foods (burgers in particular) and talking to anyone who will listen about my dogs. I recently moved to Manila and am loving exploring this new city (though mostly through my stomach!). You can usually find me at Wildflour tapping away on my laptop and sipping an almond latte. Since living here, I have developed a plant obsession and am desperately trying to keep my collection alive!

I lived in New York for seven years before moving back to Manila in 2014. Coming back has been a completely fun experience as I rediscover all the things I love about home and explore all the cool new places that have sprouted while I was away. I love hanging out at coffee shops, hoarding curiosities and trinkets from random stores, learning a few words or phrases of a new language when traveling (my new favorite word is bauber, which is blueberry in Icelandic!) and buying shoes of all kinds (sneakers are currently on top of the list!). I also enjoy a good cup of milk tea (sans the bubbles!) and am still on the quest to find the best Taiwanese chicken chop in Manila to complete my favorite comfort meal.

Born and raised in Manila, I lived in New York for two years but came back in 2009. Manila is my home! Random facts about myself: I’m an obsessive list maker. My idea of an amazing weekend is sipping a cup of coffee while reading a book or day-drinking under the sun with friends. I love shoes. I try to get as much sunshine as I possibly can. Lately I’ve been having a serious case of restless feet and I find myself constantly daydreaming about my next big travel adventure.
