Here’s a list of restaurants for your next barkada Christmas party!
You’re heading to dinner with the whole gang, but once you get there, they can’t accommodate your party of 10, or you’re set on booking a reservation in the hottest resto in town but they can’t seat all of you at once! We know it’s tough to look for a place to fit your whole girl group (plus partners for some!) during the holiday season, so we’ve rounded up a list of resto suggestions that have big tables to fit everyone. And yes, we understand how difficult the traffic situation can be, so we’ve sorted them out by area, too. Just remember to call in advance and reserve!
If your plan is to meet up after dinner, wine night is always a good idea. Opt for their La Sala de Cata (The Tasting Room), where you can hold your own wine and jamon tasting. It’s also a new activity you and your friends can enjoy instead of the usual dinner setting. Check out our full review here.
Txanton, 2294 Chino Roces Ave. Extension, 2/F Smithbell Building, Makati, Metro Manila, 02 812 2040
Toyo Eatery is another restaurant that can provide a big table for groups—in a private room on your own floor! Giving you a view (pun intended) of everything that goes into making that tasty modern Filipino meal, it’s a great place to entertain friends, especially if you’re with foreigners or out-of-towners. Don’t forget to order cocktails!
Toyo Eatery, The Alley at Karrivin, Karrivin Plaza, 2316 Chino Roces Ave., Pasong Tamo, Makati, Metro Manila, 0917 720 8630
Made Nice Supper Club
This newest addition to Legazpi Village’s roster of hip restaurants comes from New York-trained chefs. Whether you’re looking to reserve the whole place (for 60pax) or just the communal table in the middle of the room, Made Nice is a great new place serving modern dishes that your foodie crew will enjoy for sure. It’s also a cute date place in case you’re looking to have a quieter night with your beau!

Bondi & Bourke
From beef burgers to rib-eye steaks, meat pies to chicken parm, Bondi & Bourke’s Aussie cuisine has got your protein fix covered. For big groups, their Roast Room can accommodate 24 people at a time, which is like dining in an apartment living room with a cool open kitchen. If you’re with a smaller group, you can opt to dine in their main dining hall instead.
Bondi & Bourke, G/F Cattleya Condominium, Salcedo St., Legazpi Village, Makati, Metro Manila, 02 833 1812
If you’re looking for casual Italian dining with a whole lot of wine, Salvatore Cuomo won’t fail you. The Chef’s Table, which you can reserve ahead of time, can seat around 8 to 10 people. And a private section of its well-lit modern space is great for hosting group dinners. Order their airy pizzas and the T-bone steak to share, then pair it with one of their Italian wines.
Salvatore Cuomo, G/F Uptown Parade, 9th Ave. corner 38th St., Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, 02 946 3072
Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar
For a more upscale dining option in the BGC area, Raging Bull at Shangri-La Fort does not disappoint. Order a few steaks from their large selection of dry-aged or grain- and grass- fed beef, which can be served on a chopping block for sharing (they make you choose your knife, too!). End your sumptuous meal with the refreshing Josper Grilled Pineapple, then stay for a cocktail or two at the bar.
Raging Bull Chophouse & Bar, 3/F Shangri-La at the Fort, 30th St. corner 5th Ave., Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, 02 820 0888
From the group behind Chateau 1771 and Sentro, Flatiron is a posh yet homey restaurant in Uptown Mall where you can get NYC comfort food dishes. They have a 12-seater private area for groups, while the main dining hall can also accommodate smaller parties. They’re known for their Beef Brisket and Miso-Glazed Salmon, but we think their Lamb Shank needs a mention as well.
Flatiron, UG/F Uptown Mall, 36th St. corner 9th Ave., Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila, 02 802 5461, 0917 854 4540
Meat Depot is a sure bet in case you’re searching for good yet affordable food in a down-to-earth setting. You can either purchase high-quality meats to cook at home, or you can have them cook it to your liking on the spot. With big steak slabs available, why not share the love with one of your girlfriends?

Gourmet Gypsy Art Cafe
You won’t miss the long wooden table that can seat your large party as you enter. But what makes this place a good choice in the QC area is the quirkiness of the space and the homey vibe to make you feel comfortable. Try the Elote Mexicano and Shakshuka as starters, and take our word for the Indian Butter Chicken for your main course. No space inside? Ask them if they can host you in the backyard for an alfresco dinner party. After all, we only get that cool December breeze once a year!
Gourmet Gypsy Art Cafe, 25 A. Roces Ave., Quezon City, Metro Manila, 02 662 0880
49-B Heirloom Kitchen
If you want to avoid the Makati and BGC rush this time of the year, head to the Tomas Morato area instead! 49B Heirloom Kitchen is known for their hearty meals that are infused with international flavors. Get the Squash Flower Fritters as your appetizer, then order the Lechon Sinigang to share with friends!
